Danielle

Kia Ora. My name is Danielle. I was born and raised in Pukekohe. Family has always been important to me and I am lucky enough to get to spend lots of quality time with my family who also live in Pukekohe. As a child I loved being outdoors and  spending time outside has always been therapeutic for me, there is nothing that can clear my head better than being outside in the sunshine surrounded by nature, which is one of the things that drew me here to Farmhouse Karaka.

I love working along side tamariki and find it a real privilege supporting them during the early years of their lifelong learning journeys. I love building relationships with each child, getting to know them as an individual and encouraging them to be passionate about their learning and growing.

Wendy

Hi, my name is Wendy. I have been an E.C.E teacher for 36 years. I have two grown up children and  I also have my first grandchild a gorgeous little boy. Being a preschool teacher to me means, building the foundations for the future. Our tamariki are that future, and I believe my calling and job is to be that support, that nurturer, that caring teacher, bringing knowledge to their love for learning through their play.

Mikayla - currently on maternity leave

Hi there! My name is Mikayla, and after 7 and a half years of teaching in Waiuku, I’m so excited to join the Farmhouse Pre School Team!

After gaining my Bachelor of Arts, I then did a GradDip in ECE, and I believe it’s such a rewarding profession! I believe every child is unique, and believe in forming authentic relationships with children and their families. I love the arts and believe music and movement, art and dramatic play are so important for our children to express themselves. I currently live in Papakura with my husband, our daughter and dog.

We love church, dancing to Disney songs and going on adventures, whether it's camping or just finding a new playground!

Rochele

Hi my name is Rochele and I am very excited to be a teacher here at Farmhouse Preschool. Originally from Whangarei my family and I have moved from Rolleston Canterbury where I worked at Burnham Country Montessori. My experience in Early Childhood Education includes 12 years as a nanny and 9 years centre based. I love to get messy and have lots of fun playing and exploring as we learn.

My family moved north to be near extended family who live in the area. We love adventures, spending time out and about in the community, riding bikes and walking, visiting the beach, forest, parks and playgrounds and travelling.l
